OpenAI has expanded ChatGPT’s voice capabilities to the web, iOS, and Android. Users can describe their tasks by speaking, while ChatGPT can work with connected services such as email, calendars, and Slack to initiate tasks including drafting emails, summarizing messages, and preparing documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
Plus and Pro subscribers can access these features through the Work tab on their phones. Free and Go users, meanwhile, can use the integrations supported by their plans in voice conversations within Chat; voice task access through Work requires access to both Voice and Work. While unfinished tasks can be continued in text chats, Work conversations in the cloud can be synchronized across devices.
