Introduction

Following the end of Türksat 3A broadcasts and the transfer of channels to Türksat 4A and Türksat 5B, some televisions and satellite receivers experienced channel loss, “no signal” warnings, and problems with no sound despite having a picture. Particularly on some Samsung models, recreating the channel list, restoring factory settings, and performing a manual scan can provide a solution. Samsung specifies the 12380 MHz Vertical (V) 27500 and 12423 MHz Horizontal (H) 30000 network frequencies for Türksat; the network search option must be enabled during the scan.

Developments

If no channels can be found at all or the signal level is low, the satellite cable, LNB, and dish antenna connections also need to be checked. On devices that are not TKGS-compatible, manual frequency setup may be required.

Details

The transition also led to increased call center traffic. According to information provided by D-Smart Customer Services Director Cenk Toker, the center, which receives approximately 1,200 calls on a normal Sunday, received 11,500 calls on Sunday, 16 August. The number of calls fell to around 8,500 on Monday.
