Meta unveiled its new products at the conference it held at Connect 2026. Featured products included the new Meta Ray-Bans, the camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio, the lightweight Meta VR Glasses and a tamagotchi-like AI device.
The company announced that it will bring its Ray-Ban and Oakley smart glasses to 11 new markets, including Turkey, by the end of the year:
- Poland, Portugal, Israel, South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Oakley Meta, Ray-Ban Meta and Ray-Ban Meta Optics will go on sale in Turkey. The glasses feature Meta AI, which is available in Turkey and supports Turkish. Pricing was not announced.
Why it matters
The availability of Meta AI with Turkish support in Turkey means these products can be evaluated by local users without a language barrier. The fact that different models will go on sale during the same period will require consumers to compare their options in terms of how they are used and their product features. The development concerns not only users curious about smart glasses but also those who want to try Meta’s AI features in everyday use. However, the fact that prices have not been announced leaves significant uncertainty about which consumer group the products will target in Turkey and to what extent the choice between models will depend on the price difference. The fact that sales are planned by the end of the year also indicates that the exact launch date has not yet been clarified.
