Introduction
Slack has made Slack Code, a feature designed to enable teams to collaborate with AI agents on software development, available across all Slack plans. When users tag an agent such as Claude Code or Devin in a Slack conversation, a project-specific code channel is created.
Developments
In this channel, teams can track conversations and code changes, view live previews, and review and approve the work.
When the task is completed, the channel is automatically archived, while an audit log of the activity is retained.
Details
The founding integration partners for the feature, which works with AI agents available in Slack’s app marketplace, include Claude Code, Devin, Vercel Agent and GitHub Copilot. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff described Slack Code as “truly multiplayer coding.”
