Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan discussed security threats against Saudi Arabia at the Extraordinary Meeting of the Mecca Defense Alliance Strategic Political and Defense Committee held in Riyadh. Retired Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood of Pakistan was appointed Secretary-General for a three-year term.
