Sony has started rolling out the Android 17 update for Xperia 1 VIII. The 73.1.A.2.61 version, approximately 1.2 GB in size, introduces a desktop mode that allows multiple apps to be used in windows on external displays. The update also expands the camera, screen recording and interface customization options.
While the first reports came from the UK and Germany, it was stated that the rollout would vary by model and market.
