Gülter’s statements
New security camera footage has emerged in connection with the death of Gül Tut, known as “Güllü,” who died after falling from the window of her home in the Çınarcık district of Yalova on September 26, 2025. The footage shows detained defendant Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter speaking with police officers at the entrance to the building at around 01.43 and then going up to the apartment. The footage also shows the movements of Gülter and Sultan Nur Ulu, who was in the room at the time of the incident, afterward.
Statements on the sentences
In the indictment accepted by the Yalova 1. Ağır Ceza Mahkemesi, an aggravated life sentence is sought for Gülter on the charge of “premeditated murder of a close relative,” while a prison sentence of 2 to 4 years is sought for Ulu on the charge of “false testimony.” The trial is expected to begin on October 1.
