The Ministry of National Education will increase family participation in the school adjustment process for preschool, 1st-grade primary school and 5th-grade middle school students during the 2026-2027 school year.
Under this arrangement, one parent employed in the public sector will, upon request, be granted administrative leave of no more than 3 hours during the adjustment week on 7-11 September, in line with their child’s class schedule. Family participation will continue throughout the school year under the “Ailemle Okul Yolu Programı.”
