Introduction
The Ministry of National Education (MEB) sent the circular on the 2026-2027 academic year to all provinces. According to the circular signed by Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, the academic year will begin on Monday, September 14. Throughout the year, activities based on the principles of national unity and solidarity, constitutional citizenship, and equality will be organized under the Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration.
Developments
Risks in and around schools will be reviewed; entrances and exits will be kept under control, pedestrian and vehicle traffic will be separated, blind spots will be illuminated, and security inspections will continue. Protective and preventive measures will be implemented by assessing reports and complaints.
Details
Meetings with parents will be held only through the “School Appointment System”; parents without appointments and individuals who are not the student’s parent or guardian will not be admitted to schools. Education personnel will dress in accordance with the dignity of the profession and wear smocks. Parents will not be charged registration fees for registrations made automatically through e-Okul.
