Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı (Türkiye’s Ministry of Industry and Technology) has announced new financing opportunities to increase the production capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises, strengthen their competitiveness and expand their investments. The 3rd application period of 2026 has officially begun under KOSGEB’s Capacity Development Support Program. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that a comprehensive credit and financing package had been established for businesses operating in manufacturing and technology-focused sectors.

Financing Structure and Maturity Terms

Among the prominent features of the financing package offered to SMEs during the new application period is a loan with a 36-month maturity. Under the program, businesses will receive 20-point financing support as well as credit guarantee facilities. This is intended to reduce the financing access costs of businesses seeking to increase their production capacity and carry out digital transformation investments.

Sector-Based Support Limits

According to the details announced for the program, different limits will apply to strategic and high-value-added sectors.

The upper financing limit for SMEs carrying out supplier development projects in the defense, space and aviation fields was set at 30 million TL. Financing support of up to 20 million TL will also be provided for the projects of fast-growing businesses or those holding the Teknogirişim badge.

Expenses Covered by the Support

The financing provided under the program can be used for various investment expenses of businesses. The support covers purchases of machinery, equipment and molds; corporate software expenses for digital transformation; the employment of qualified personnel; training and consultancy services; and working capital needs directly related to the project.

The Program’s Previous Performance and Objectives

The KOSGEB Capacity Development Support Program, introduced in 2025, has continued to directly contribute to the growth processes of SMEs since then. It was reported that a total of 3 thousand 938 SMEs have accessed financing amounting to 64 billion TL since the previous period.

The Ministry aims to continue these support mechanisms in order to increase the share of SMEs in the domestic production network and strengthen their competitiveness in global markets.
