According to Apple’s data under the EU energy label, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have slightly higher repairability scores than the iPhone 17 Pro models. The overall index rose from 3.04 to 3.14, the disassembly depth from 2.65 to 2.75, and the tools category from 2.05 to 2.55.
Assessment note
There was no change in the scores for fasteners, spare parts, software updates, and repair information. While both generations are in Class C on the EU scale, the details of the differences in their internal architecture have not yet become clear.
