73 injured in Houthi attack on southern Saudi Arabia
An industrial facility at twilight

Saudi Arabia announced that 73 people, including women and children, were injured in attacks by Yemen’s Houthis targeting civilian, commercial and energy facilities and infrastructure in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran. The attacks caused fires, while some energy operations were temporarily halted. Specialized teams began working to tackle the fires, ensure security and assess the damage. The Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks and said that attacks targeting commercial vessels in the Red Sea threatened international maritime transport. Riyadh said it reserved the right to take all necessary measures and called on the international community to implement United Nations Security Council resolutions. The Houthis have not yet issued a statement.
