It has come to light through indications in macOS beta code and information reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman that Apple has developed two different game controllers to support the iPhone gaming experience. The products may also be offered under the Beats brand instead of Apple. The company currently sells controllers such as the Backbone One and SteelSeries Nimbus+; iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV support PlayStation DualShock and Xbox Wireless Controller, as well as MFi-compatible products. The controllers, codenamed T6502 and T1057, contain traces of directional buttons, analog sticks, vibration motors, an accelerometer and a gyroscope. Their designs, differences in features and connection methods are unknown.
