Soundcore is bringing its Thus processor, introduced in April, to new headphone and earbuds models. At IFA 2026 in Berlin, the company announced the Space 2 Pro headphones, the AeroClip 2 and AeroClip 2 Pro open-clip headphones, and the Liberty Buds 2. The Thus processor aims to deliver the best call quality to date by largely blocking out ambient sounds during conversations.
The Space 2 Pro will be the first headphones to use this processor. They will feature six microphones for sound isolation and eight microphones for adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC). Soundcore says the ANC is 1.5 times stronger than that of the Space One Pro in the 20Hz-2.000Hz range. The headphones will offer personalized sound profiles with HearID, high-resolution audio via LDAC, 60 hours of listening at 50% volume, 30 hours with ANC enabled, and 20 hours of talk time. The Space 2 Pro will go on sale on September 22 for $200 in gray, white, and black in the US, EU, and United Kingdom.
The AeroClip 2 will be available on September 22 for $170 in black, red, white, and blue with the Thus processor. The 4.7-gram Liberty Buds 2 will go on sale for $130 in purple, black, and white with the Thus processor and a six-microphone ANC system.
Why it matters
Soundcore’s move to bring the Thus processor to models with different designs makes call quality a shared focus across the product family. The microphone and ANC configuration in the Space 2 Pro will put the company’s claim that it has measurably improved noise-cancellation performance compared with the previous model to the test. The fact that the open-clip AeroClip 2 and the lighter Liberty Buds 2 use the same processor will require users to weigh the differences in design, weight, isolation, and price. However, it has not been explained how the stated figures for suppressing ambient sounds and speech quality will translate to real-world use, particularly under different noise conditions. The release dates and prices will make it possible to conduct this comparison when the products come to market.
