China-based video platform Bilibili is aiming to expand to Western users and content creators by relaunching its international app on Android.

The company has also removed the identity verification requirement for uploading content from outside China while holding talks with YouTube content creators.
Bilibili plans to bring content from China and different regions together on the same platform and hire employees in Los Angeles, London, Mexico City, São Paulo, Istanbul and Tokyo.
