Warner Bros. has shared the first promotional images from the new film in The Lord of the Rings series, Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. Peter Jackson will be among the producers, while Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens will also join the project as producers. Andy Serkis will direct the film, which will be produced by New Line Cinema. The film will be released in theaters on December 17, 2027.
