What Artificial Intelligence Used to Be Like

Internet Archive has introduced the “Vintage Artificial Intelligence” collection, featuring old software emulated in the browser. The collection includes different versions of Eliza, conversational adventure games, Lisp, Prolog, Racter, Alter Ego, Conway’s Game of Life and the chess program Sargon. Hexapawn, Parry and George, which creates word chains from texts, are not included in the collection.
