Introduction
[Cajun Panda] developed a PCB that improves the Nintendo Game Boy Advance’s low-quality audio output. The board, which connects to the contact points of the removed GBA audio chip, provides cleaner sound through filtering, EQ, and a Class D amplifier.
Developments
The board also features an audio codec and ESP32 for Bluetooth connectivity.
Details
The connection is activated by holding down a GBA button and configured through the ESP32’s web interface. All files for the project, which requires no case modifications, have been published on GitHub.
