Monq is developing a platform that supports strategic supplier negotiations for corporate procurement teams with artificial intelligence. Founded in the United Kingdom in August 2025 by Yasin Bostancı and Duygu Gözeler Porchet, the startup began operations in October 2025. It operates in the United Kingdom, the United States and Türkiye, and aims to expand into the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
The platform combines artificial intelligence, contract intelligence, market data, behavioral science and game theory. It has more than 38 AI agents working across preparation, scenario simulation, supplier signal analysis and the contract lifecycle. The Negotiation Intelligence Engine, War Room and Live Voice Agent are among its prominent components. Monq focuses on contracts ranging from $1 million to more than $100 million, as well as the manufacturing, automotive, fashion and logistics sectors. The company says it applied to the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its technology in May 2026.
The startup reports savings of up to 15% and acceleration of up to 70% among its customers. Monq, which completed a $3 million pre-seed round in November 2025, operates on a corporate subscription model.
Why it matters
The area in which Monq is positioned is important in procurement processes not only for collecting bids but also for managing high-value and long-term supplier relationships. For this reason, the platform stands out by addressing interconnected stages such as negotiation preparation, scenario assessment and contract tracking within a single structure for corporate teams operating across sectors ranging from manufacturing to logistics. The savings and acceleration rates shared by the company demonstrate the solution’s commercial value proposition; however, the customer and contract conditions under which these results were achieved are not detailed in the report. The $3 million investment and patent application in the United States indicate that Monq has secured resources for technology and market expansion, while how growth outside the United Kingdom, United States and Turkey will progress remains an open question.
Term: agent
An artificial intelligence agent is software that calls tools and carries out multi-step tasks to achieve a goal instead of producing a single response.
