Introduction
In the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office investigation into the Alihan Kuriş criminal organization, it was determined that vehicles with license plates 34 S 7815 and 34 RM 8677, allocated to former Interior Minister İdris Naim Şahin, were used for purposes other than their intended allocation and in criminal activities.
Developments
It had previously been determined that the vehicle with license plate 34 SL 313, also allocated to Şahin, was used to spirit away fugitive Hilmi Tuna Kuriş.
Details
As part of the investigation, efforts were launched to apprehend Ömer Sipahioğlu, while Ömer Yücel was detained.
