It has been learned that former Interior Minister İdris Naim Şahin will be questioned as part of the investigation into the “Alihan Kuriş criminal organization established for profit.”
The investigation determined that a vehicle allocated to Şahin was used to take fugitive suspects Hilmi Tuna Kuriş and Erhan Yılmaz to Muğla. While reviews established that two other vehicles had also been used outside their intended purpose, Ö.Y. was detained in connection with the vehicle that transported the suspects. Hilmi Tuna Kuriş and Erhan Yılmaz were arrested in Marmaris on 21 August.
