Turgay Tamer, a forensic medicine expert who was detained on the 10th and released on the 14th as part of the investigation into Kaşif Kozinoğlu, was found dead by his wife at his home in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul. No suspicious circumstances were found during the initial examination by the teams dispatched to the scene.
Tamer’s body was sent to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institution to determine the exact cause of death. The cause of death of Tamer, who was reported to have diabetes, will be established following the autopsy.
