Apple has reportedly halted its foldable MacBook and large-screen OLED MacBook Pro projects. According to Omdia, the foldable model, which was planned to feature a display measuring between 16.1 and 18 inches when unfolded, and the standalone 14.4-16.1-inch OLED MacBook have been canceled. However, the company’s strategy of bringing OLED to iPad and MacBook devices remains in place. Apple is said to be preparing a new 13.8-inch model positioned between the LCD MacBook Air and OLED MacBook Pro; the device will reportedly use an LTPO+ backplane, an under-display camera, and a color filter on encapsulation.
