Clotty The Custom Period Tracker can, of course, run DOOM. What’s more, in developing this device — which offers Tamagotchi-style gamification — tracking data is never uploaded to a remote server, collected, disclosed, or sold. The design isn’t shy, either. [kati] wanted the device to shout, “I’m a period tracker.”
This is where the technical specifications begin. It features an RP2040 processor and a color LCD screen. The device includes various sensors, the PCB is palm-sized and shaped like a uterus, and there are also touch-sensitive ovaries.
The hardware side is in working order. The software foundations are in place and development is actively ongoing; updates released as features are added can be followed via Clotty’s GitHub repository. [kati]’s RP2040-DOOM fork is also live. Another of [kati]’s projects is the Slightly Sentient D20.
