The 10 startups that gave presentations at HUBrica’s 3rd Demo Day event showcased their solutions to investors. The event took place in Istanbul. The third term of the HUBrica Acceleration Program, run in cooperation between Halkbank and İTÜ ARI Teknokent, was completed with an event held at the Halkbank Kuleleri in Istanbul Finans Merkezi. The program focused on fintech and artificial intelligence. Sustainability was also among the program’s focus areas. General Manager Recep Süleyman Özdil announced that 30 startups have graduated over three terms and that contracts have been signed with 5 of them. The establishment of the HUBrica Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center is also planned.

The startups that presented were as follows: – Cherry Mic: microbial fertilizer technologies using indigenous microorganisms – Clamint: a platform that analyzes brands’ visibility in AI searches – Innolife: a digital health platform offering session monitoring with biosensors and AI – Inopolyme: smart packaging that indicates food freshness through color change – Kitchenest: a platform that transforms idle kitchens into digital restaurants – Odigos: a solution that combines human resources processes on a single platform – Parkera: an application for finding parking spots, making reservations, and handling payments – Saspera: a SaaS platform that manages sustainability data – Tylus AI: a solution that converts natural language commands into SQL queries – Vericore: a traceable decision-proof infrastructure for critical decisions

Why it matters

The program that Halkbank runs with İTÜ ARI Teknokent shows that the relationship banks build with ventures does not remain solely at the level of promotion or support. The signing of contracts with 5 of the 30 ventures that have graduated over three cohorts offers an indicator for measuring whether such acceleration programs produce concrete commercial connections beyond the demo day show. Although it was announced as focused on fintech and AI, the admission of ventures from fields such as agriculture, healthcare, smart packaging, and human resources demonstrates that the scope of bank-backed programs is expanding. The holding of the event at the Istanbul Financial Center and the plan to establish a permanent entrepreneurship and innovation center reflect Halkbank’s approach to transforming this effort from a periodic program into a continuous structure. The question that remains open is to what extent the signed contracts actually bring revenue and scale to the ventures.
