Introduction
Meeting scheduling platform Calendly has introduced its AI-powered Calendly Notetaker and Callie products. Founded in 2013 and serving more than 50 million users, the company aims to manage tasks before, during, and after meetings on a single platform.
Notetaker, which can join Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams meetings, records and transcribes conversations, and prepares summaries, highlights, action items, and draft follow-up emails.
Developments
Participants are notified that the meeting is being recorded, while the assistant can be asked to leave the meeting.
Callie can schedule meetings by being included in email conversations via callie@calendly.com.
Details
The assistant evaluates the user’s calendar and preferences and suggests suitable times, adding the meeting to the calendar once an agreement is reached. It also provides preparation and information support for upcoming or past meetings by drawing on calendars, contact profiles, and Notetaker notes. Both products are available in English on the Standard Plus and Teams Plus plans.
