French Auto-Moto created renderings showing the possible design of the next-generation Kia Sportage based on camouflaged test vehicles. The model is expected to feature straighter lines, an upright stance and a design reminiscent of Kia’s electric EV lineup.
The Sportage reportedly will not switch to an all-electric platform and will retain its vertical daytime running lights, horizontal main headlights and large radiator grille. Thick protective cladding and an upright rear pillar also reinforce the SUV appearance.
Kia has not yet disclosed the technical specifications, unveiling date or price. The new Sportage is expected to be announced in 2027 and go on sale in early 2028.
