The StrictlyVC sessions to be held as part of TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 will examine the venture capital market as it changes under the influence of artificial intelligence and the pace at which startups scale. At the event, which will take place at Moscone West in San Francisco from October 13–15, investors, institutional limited partners, family office managers and market experts will discuss the direction of capital and the new financing environment.

The StrictlyVC sessions for investors will be accessible with a Disrupt Investor Pass. Those who register by September 25 at 11:59 p.m. PT can save $200 on the Investor Pass.

October 14 schedule:

  • 3:00–3:45 p.m. PT: Drinks, light refreshments and networking
  • 3:45–4:50 p.m. PT: StrictlyVC Conversations
  • 4:50–6:00 p.m. PT: Drinks and networking

The sessions will cover changing conditions as the IPO market reopens, preparing companies for an IPO, and expectations around growth, governance and credibility. Ryan Flanagan of ICR will assess what makes companies IPO-ready and the decisions made ahead of listing.

Bruce K Lee (Keebeck Capital Management) and Dave Sachse (Sachse Family Fund) will discuss the investments of family offices, one of the rapidly growing sources of startup capital, and their relationships with founders. Amit Bhatti (TrueBridge Capital Partners) and Beezer Clarkson (LGT Capital Partners), meanwhile, will discuss limited partners’ approach to manager selection, concentrated artificial intelligence investments, liquidity expectations and future venture capital returns.

The event will feature more than 200 sessions, roundtables and workshops across six industry stages. TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 will bring together 10,000+ founders, venture capital investors and executives from the global technology ecosystem.
