Solve Your TTL Video Problems with the RP2350
Circuit board and electronic components

[Charlysan] has developed an RP2350-based converter that converts legacy TTL RGB monitor signals to DVI. While the board’s PIO units sample the TTL input into a frame buffer, the rest of the RP2350 generates the DVI signal using PicoDVI.

The project requires level-shifting hardware that, at its simplest, can consist of resistors, and targets the Waveshare RP2350-PiZero board, which comes with a ready-made HDMI socket. The device is controlled via a USB serial terminal, for which a TK graphical interface script is also available. A similar converter has previously been built for VGA.
