The countdown to the Oppo Find X10 launch has begun: Its design and date have been confirmed
Smartphone camera module

Oppo has announced the design of the Find X10 series with official images. Moon White, Warm Orange, Ice Blue and Light Titanium color options will be offered; the series will be unveiled on September 22. Reservations have begun in China. The Find X10, Find X10 Pro Max and Find X10 E models will be accompanied by Watch S2 and Enco X4. The standard Find X10 features two 200-megapixel sensors for the main and telephoto cameras, while all three of the Pro Max’s cameras have 200-megapixel resolution. Both models use the Hasselblad Ultra-Clear Original Camera system. With its second-generation Danxia lens, the system collects light and colors through 24 channels. The Tianma-developed Tiangong Screen 2.0 OLED panel aims to improve low-brightness performance and reduce blue light. The Find X10 will have 0.99 mm bezels and an 8,000 mAh battery. Oppo says the battery will offer durability exceeding five years; the phone’s weight and thickness have not been disclosed.

Why it matters

The technical approach in the series shows that Oppo is highlighting not only increased camera resolution but also everyday experience factors such as image processing, display comfort and long-term battery use. This framework could broaden the criteria for comparison, particularly for consumers interested in mobile photography, high battery capacity and using displays at low brightness. How the Hasselblad system and the Tianma-developed display will perform in practice remains among the topics that can be evaluated after the launch. The fact that the weight and thickness of the standard model and the Pro Max have not been disclosed currently leaves the impact of the large batteries on portability unclear. How the reservations that began in China will translate to other markets is also among the questions that will seek answers on September 22.
