Lamborghini has reused the “Tricolore” name 15 years later with the Temerario Tricolore, displayed at Monterey Car Week, after using it in 2011 with the Gallardo LP 550-2 Tricolore. Only 1 unit of the car, developed by Lamborghini Centro Stile and Ad Personam, was produced.
Combining Blu Marinus Shiny and Bianco Monocerus, the model features a green, white and red stripe symbolizing the Italian flag running along the hood. With its plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, three electric motors and a 3.8 kWh battery, the Temerario Tricolore produces 907 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 343 km/h. The model’s price has not yet been announced.

The model shows that Lamborghini has combined the special-edition naming it has used in the past with current plug-in hybrid technology. Producing a single example positions the Temerario Tricolore more as a showcase of the brand’s design and personalization capabilities than as a mass-production option. While the performance figures show that the brand’s special-design approach is not limited solely to visual details, the fact that the price has not been announced currently prevents an assessment of the car’s market positioning and the model’s accessibility.
