Analyst Jeff Pu said the iPhone Duo’s production forecast through the end of 2026 had been lowered from 7 million to 6 million. The decline was attributed not to insufficient demand but to supply and manufacturing issues involving the complex hinge.
Pu expects combined sales of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max to reach 72 million units during the same period. iPhone Duo preorders will begin on October 16.
