Introduction
Google announced new features that allow users to personalize their content experience based on their interests in Search, Discover and Google News. With the “Preferred Source” button that publishers can add to their sites, users will be able to add their favorite publications to their personal preferences on Google.
Developments
These sources are intended to be shown more frequently in areas such as Top Stories, AI Overview and AI Mode. It was reported that more than 600,000 unique sources have been added to preferred sources so far.
Details
A feature is also coming to the Discover feed in the Google app that will allow users to state, in natural sentences, the topics they want or do not want to see. The system will update the feed in real time based on the requests submitted.
