GeForce NOW offers players more ways to play at Gamescom 2026
Game controller and laptop

NVIDIA announced new features and expanded device support for GeForce NOW at Gamescom. In the fall, Ultimate members will be able to use NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 controls to adjust image quality and performance in supported games. Support for Steam Machine and Steam Controller, along with compatibility with Windows and macOS, will also be expanded. GOG single sign-on will provide access to supported games without having to sign in again, while Firefox support will enable gaming through the browser.

CONTROL Resonant, Gears of War: E-Day, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and STAR WARS Zero Company will come to GeForce NOW on their launch day. CONTROL Resonant will be given to those who purchase a 12-month GeForce NOW Ultimate membership for a limited time. In addition, more than 40 prizes, including gaming hardware and GeForce NOW Ultimate memberships, will be distributed in a community giveaway; 13 more games will be added to the library this week.

Why it matters

The announcements expand the GeForce NOW experience not only through its game catalog but also through how users access it and the control they have. DLSS 4.5 settings will allow Ultimate members to choose between image quality and performance in supported games according to their own preferences. Support for Steam Machine, Steam Controller, Windows, macOS, and Firefox could make the platform more accessible to players with different devices and usage habits. GOG single sign-on will also shorten the access process by eliminating the need to sign in again to access games. However, which games will support these features and exactly when they will become available in the fall remain among the points left unspecified.
