Luxury design brand Caviar has announced a special “Liquid Metal” version for the iPhone Ultra, Apple’s first foldable iPhone model, which is expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks. The device’s standard outer casing is being replaced with a 925 sterling silver panel processed to resemble the movement of frozen liquid metal and finished with a high-mirror polish. Depending on the angle at which light strikes it, the surface creates a rippling effect on the rear section. The standard Apple logo is also being replaced with a three-dimensional logo made of 925 sterling silver.
Unlike Caviar’s previous designs featuring jewelry, gold and meteorite fragments, the Liquid Metal model derives its appearance primarily from the effect of raw silver and its reflective surface. The entry-level model in the series, with 256 GB of storage, will go on sale for $18,840 (906 thousand TL). Production will be limited to just 17 units worldwide. Buyers will receive the device in custom packaging, along with a 24-karat gold-plated key bearing Caviar’s signature.
Concept images and physical mockups released by Caviar offer an idea of the foldable iPhone Ultra’s hinge structure and external dimensions, but the device’s hardware specifications have not yet been officially confirmed by Apple. To see the phone’s standard version without silver and its technical details, it will be necessary to wait for the Apple launch to be held at the beginning of September.
