In week 6 of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Amedspor beat Beşiktaş 3-2 at Diyarbakır Stadium, increasing their points total to 13 and moving into first place on goal difference. Beşiktaş remained on 12 points and suffered their second defeat in the league.

Amedspor finished the first half 2-0 ahead with goals from Gift Orban in the 13th minute and Dia Saba in the 15th minute. Beşiktaş reduced the deficit to one in the 55th minute through Vlahovic, while the home side restored their two-goal lead in the 59th minute with a lobbed shot from Furkan Soyalp.

Amedspor’s Amadou Cisse was sent off after receiving yellow cards in the 78th and 84th minutes. Beşiktaş were awarded a penalty following a VAR review in the 90+4th minute. Although Orkun Kökçü’s goal in the 90+8th minute made it 3-2, the visitors were unable to equalize in the remaining minutes.

After the match, Amedspor head coach Besnik Hasi was shown a red card for protesting against the referee. Amedspor will visit Gençlerbirliği after the international break, while Beşiktaş will host Kocaelispor.
