Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G with a 10,000 mAh battery is coming to Turkey

Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G in Turkey on September 17; the price has not been announced, and reservations have begun. The record-capacity model supports a 10,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery containing 16% silicon, 100W HyperCharge and 27W reverse charging. Xiaomi reports up to three days of use; in Boost Mode, 20 minutes of charging provides a day of use, while 10 minutes enables up to seven hours of video playback. The phone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K CrystalRes AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 3,500 nits, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, a 32-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, IP66 and IP68 ratings, and SGS-verified 3-meter drop resistance are offered. Liquid damage outside testing conditions is not covered by the warranty.

Why it matters

This development raises the possibility that the device could reduce charging frequency in daily use for users seeking a high-capacity battery and fast charging; however, it should be noted that the claims of up to three days of use and the Boost Mode results are reported by Xiaomi and may vary depending on usage conditions. Although drop protection and IP ratings stand out in terms of durability, the difference in IP information between the global and Turkey pages, along with the exclusion of liquid damage outside testing conditions from warranty coverage, clarifies the limits of the protection. The fact that the price was not announced before sales means that those making reservations may have to decide without seeing the cost. Therefore, the warranty conditions in Turkey and the final price will be as decisive in the assessment as the technical specifications.
