Amazon Prime Video has begun offering users short-form local and national news clips. The content will initially be available on TVs and other living-room devices, followed later by the web and iOS and Android apps.
In the US, the videos, which can be accessed without a subscription, will be added to the “Trending Topics” and “Local News” feeds in the “News” section. It has not yet been announced whether the mobile content will be in vertical format or in which countries the feature will be made available.
