Lindsay Lohan will take viewers back to 2008 with the Netflix film Return to You, in which she will co-star with Henry Golding. In the romantic film, which will be directed by Mark Waters, Lohan will play a lawyer who is successful in her career but lonely in her personal life. After accidentally receiving a DVD that a dying woman prepared for her husband, the character will search for the man by following the clues on the recording. The screenplay was written by Eric Champnella.
The film reunites Lohan with Waters, the director of 2003’s Freaky Friday and 2004’s Mean Girls. Return to You will be produced by Lohan and Brad Krevoy, with Olivia Krevoy, Jimmy Townsend and Galen Fletcher serving as executive producers. Lohan will also star alongside Shailene Woodley and Kit Harington in the Hulu series Count My Lies, while Golding will appear with Brie Larson and Lily Collins in Close Personal Friends.
