Apple released the third developer beta of iOS 27.2 yesterday evening. iOS 27.1 was skipped because it was set to focus on the iPhone Duo model. The standout new features of the new beta are as follows:
- The redesigned new “Health” app, announced at the iPhone 18 Pro event, was activated with this beta.
- A dual capture mode was introduced, allowing video to be streamed from both the front and rear cameras simultaneously in Group FaceTime calls.
- Support for 5 new languages — French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish — was added to the generative AI-powered Siri.
