Rotten Tomatoes remarks

The documentary about Elizabeth Holmes has earned a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. The film has drawn widespread acclaim. You Can See Everything, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, received praise from critics ahead of its US premiere, with some calling it “the film of the year.”

Filming continued in secret for three years.

Holmes’s schedule

Holmes invited the film crew to her home a few days before entering prison in Texas in May 2023 to begin serving her 11-year sentence. Holmes founded Theranos. Holmes, 42, claimed that Theranos, the company she founded, had developed a device that could diagnose diseases with a few drops of blood, but she was convicted in 2022 after it emerged that she had deceived investors with technology that never worked.

United Kingdom timeline

The release dates are already set. The film will open in the US on October 16 and in the United Kingdom on November 20, and it has received 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and 97 points on Metacritic. The release date in Turkey remains unclear.

The Guardian’s statements

While The Daily Beast counted the documentary among the best of its genre, The Guardian described it as “a modern masterpiece of deception.” Variety also weighed in. Variety wrote that the film was far from a “pure” documentary, and Screen Daily praised it for revealing how everyone distorts the truth for their own ends. At the screening that premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in September, audience members’ phones were placed in locked pouches.
